Cashmere Care
- Vacuum gently using low-suction setting, no beater bar
- Vacuum in the direction of the pile
- Rotate every 6 months for even wear
- Professional cleaning recommended (avoid home steam cleaners)
- Blot spills immediately with clean, dry cloth (never rub)
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
Wool Care
- Vacuum regularly on medium setting
- Initial shedding is normal and diminishes within months
- Rotate quarterly for even wear
- Professional cleaning annually
- Spot clean with mild, pH-neutral detergent and cool water
- Naturally stain-resistant due to lanolin coating
- Flat-weave wool (Yuka) can be shaken outdoors periodically
Jute Care
- Vacuum regularly on low setting
- Avoid excessive moisture (jute absorbs water readily)
- Blot spills immediately with dry cloth
- For wet spills, apply baking soda to absorb moisture, vacuum when dry
- Use a rug pad to cushion fibers and prevent slipping
- Will soften naturally with age and foot traffic
