Fiber softness is determined by the length of the source fiber, therefore the finest cashmere is sourced from the goats indigenous to the extremely cold climates of the Mongolian mountains. These conditions have produced goats with fibers that are three times longer than most cashmere herds. Each meticulously gathered strand is handspun and washed three times to bring out its natural luster.
